University of Freiburg’s IT security management certified by TÜV SÜD

TÜV SÜD has awarded international certification for information security management systems (ISMS) ISO/IEC 27001 to Freiburg’s IT structure security management, and by doing so affirms that the IT environment meets key security objectives: confidentiality, integrity and availability of research data. We congratulate Prof. Dr. Rolf Backofen amongst others to this striking demonstration that the University IT Services have up-to-date structures and is therefore ideally equipped to provide efficient and secure research data management.
