The “Pint of Science” from May 14th to 16th at the Pub “Goldener Sternen” was a great opportunity to learn about brain research from world-leading researchers from Freiburg in a comfortable atmosphere.

Boys Day at the NeuroMac initiative: Two PhD students of the CRC/TRR 167 “NeuroMac” gave 8 male pupils insights into the work in the field of leading edge of brain research.

The NeuroMac WinterSchool took place in Berlin from November 23^rd to 24^th. Guest speakers Prof. Dr. Yuri Gleba (CEO & Founder, Nomad Bioscience GmbH), Prof. Dr. Alexander Flügel and Prof.Dr. Francesca Odoardi from the University of Göttingen, gave fascinating insights into their work. The students had also the opportunity to present their own work receiving valuable input from the audience.

The kick-off meeting of the internal career-support program for young female scientists “NeuroMac Woman” took place in Freiburg on November 14th and 15th, 2017.

The International Symposium took place in Freiburg, Germany from September 27-29th, 2017
