Neurobiology for non-specialist at FENS 2018

Berlin, 4th-5th July 2018: The NeuroMac School participated in the 2nd Human Brain Project (HBP) curriculum workshop series – Neurobiology for non-specialists. Fifteen students from the HBP program visited the Laboratory of Molecular Psychiatry at the Charite. Dr. Chotima Böttcher (Coordinator, NeuroMac School) and Camila Fernandez Zapata (PhD Stipend, NeuroMac School) introduced methodologies that have been used to characterize CNS cells (e.g. immunohistochemistry, Cytometry, RNA-sequencing). Chotima also gave a lecture at the HBP workshop series for non-specialists on „ CNS immune profiling by multiplexed mass cytometry“.
