EMBO Workshop – Microglia in health and disease
From 21-24 May 2024 the EMBO Workshop ‘Microglia in health and disease’ took place in Genoa, Italy. This excellent meeting was organized by Florent Ginhoux, Rosa Paolicelli and Amanda Sierra. The program of this EMBO Workshop was diverse with many internationally renowned speakers, including Prof. Dr. Marco Prinz from the NeuroMac CRC/TRR 167.
Lisa Huis in ‘t Veld presented her work on ‘USP18 as a key regulator of IFN signalling in health and disease’ during a poster presentation, which is part of the NeuroMac project B16 led by Prof. Dr. Antje Beling and PD Dr. Klaus-Peter Knobeloch. Lisa looks back on a succesful meeting in which she could exchange ideas with many other microglia enthusiasts.
If you are interested in Lisa’s research, you can also find her presenting a poster at the meeting ‘From INNATE to ADAPTIVE Immunity – a question of memory’ at 1-2 July in Berlin.
